Hello- as neighbors and friends of the Walker family, we wanted to start a GoFundMe to assist with the medical bills of our best friends’ beautiful daughter, Lawson Walker. Lawson was welcomed into the world on February 16, her scheduled due date. Shortly after her birth, Lawson was having some difficulties and it was clear she needed some extra assistance with her breathing. After utilizing all resources in the NICU at the delivering hospital, her parents were informed she needed further support to save her life. The night of her birthday, Lawson was transferred to CHOA to be put on ECMO, an advance form of life support. While her story continues, Lawson is fighting against all odds and is showing us just how strong she is!(We think she gets it from her mama!) She is making huge strides each day and we are grateful that the Lord has given her the strength, resources, and medical team surrounding her. There is still a lot to be told of Lawson’s story, but as we navigate through the next steps, we would appreciate any extra thoughts and prayers for her and her family. If you feel compelled to donate monetarily, know it would deeply be appreciated and any amount would help.  While we are unable to do much in terms of physically helping Lawson, our goal is to cover a portion of her medical expenses to help alleviate any additional stress of her wonderful family.  We will keep you all updated with her progress, and we cant wait for Lawson to join her sisters at home one day in the future!
