Love for Aqua Lounge

Dear friends of Christian and Aqua Lounge. 

As you might have heard our dear friend and mentor has passed away after an ongoing battle with cancer, leaving behind his only son ( Marcus )

Christian was a man who never asked anybody for anything but was always there to offer advice or help.  Many got a head start in Bocas or in life  because of him. Even up to his last moments he was more concerned about his staff than about himself. He left a permanent mark in many of our hearts and will live on in all of our stories and in all that he has taught us.

Because of covid, dealing with his ongoing battle with cancer, and the cost of his funeral arrangements, the fate of the business is left in a precarious place.

Most all of our Bocas community, those near and far, have gotten to enjoy a bit of the splendor of Aqua Lounge. As a home, a setting for local organizations, a fresh dip in the sea off the high dive, a sunset drink, or during one of the many wild parties over the years. We can all say we have gotten a taste to see what Christian has put his life towards all these years.

In his honor ,we (his friends, Aqua Lounge family and his son) are asking for your kind donations to cover  legal expenses  and a way for Marcus  to be able to continue his legacy and help our cherished staple of Bocas Del Toro, the famous Aqua Lounge going!
