On October 31, 2026, my beautiful 17-year-old daughter, Love Cannon, was tragically shot in Ellendale, Delaware, and later passed away from her injuries. She was one of nine people shot that night. Love was one of the sweetest, happiest, and most loving girls you could ever meet. She always had a smile on her face and a heart full of love. To know Love was truly to love her.

She was my daughter, my baby, and my best friend. She had so many dreams, so many plans, and an entire life ahead of her. She was a senior in high school, a cheerleader, and was looking forward to making so many more memories with her family and friends. Our family is now trying to navigate a life we never imagined living without her. No parent should ever have to bury their child, especially under circumstances like these.

I created this fundraiser to help our family with additional funeral and memorial expenses as we prepare to celebrate Love’s life and give her the beautiful farewell she deserves. Any remaining funds will help our family manage the unexpected expenses that come with this heartbreaking loss.
