Raymond Look passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 21, 2020. Ray was a quiet, loving and gentle soul who cared deeply for his beautiful wife, Kristi, and amazing three year old daughter, Amelia.
He had an incredible mind, a love for reading novels and writing short stories and enjoying the beautiful simplicity of life. Most of all, Ray loved Kristi’s smile and joyous sarcasm, along with Amelia’s vibrant personality and sweet belly laughs. Pushing her on swings at parks and molding creations with play dough with her at his side were his most treasured moments. We’ll never forget the way his whole face lit up when he saw Kristi on their wedding day and every day thereafter. And we’ll never forget him telling the story about how scared Amelia was on her first day of school but came home SO excited about going back.
Ray loved his family most. Ray poured his soul into making sure they knew it every day of his life. He never missed a morning of waves goodbye, blown kisses and “I love you’s” off the front porch as Amelia and Kristi drove off for school and work.
He was intentional with his time and heart. When he spoke, it was always worth the listen. His stories were captivating and his knowledge of interests he studied passionately was admired by those who knew him.
Kristi and Amelia feel the heavy burden of the loss of their favorite person. The very person they relied on for so much. Each kind thought and caring gesture they receive from others is lifting them up and aiding them in working through this devastating time.
This fund will help ease their struggles in the coming months and years. Allow them space in their hearts to grieve and focus on each other and the new normal thrown at them all too soon. Any amount is beyond appreciated and your warm thoughts and acts of kindness are forever cherished.
