Life saving love and support of Ambreya

12/23 update: Ambreya is now 6 months old and almost to her 2nd surgery. It was supposed to be scheduled for December but she got RSV and they postponed it till January. She is doing wonderful and thriving like a normal baby. She requires a lot but we are doing everything she needs at home for now. She won’t eat by mouth so she required a feeding g-tube. She is 100% breastfed as of right now. (Which is rare for these babies bc they require so much extra calories) we are preparing as much as we can for her second surgery so if you want to give there are plenty of expenses we need to meet. We were at children’s for 3.5 months the 1st time but we should only be there a few weeks-month if all goes well this second surgery. Thank you for all the prayers and donations the first round bc there would have been no way we would have made it through without you guys. Much love. ❤️‍
4/23 So I never thought I would have to start a go fund me page much less have to ask others for money but I was always taught it’s ok to ask for help when you actually need it. I dont feel like I have ever needed a hand out and have always worked hard my whole life for everything I have but the time has come where I think this may be the right route for my family. We have a sweet Baby Girl due in June and have no idea how we are going to make this work. I know God has always taken care of us and I have no doubts he will now but I also believe we have to put in some work and effort for the things we want/need. With that being said Baby girl will need open heart surgery the 1st week she is born. She has Hypoplastic left heart syndrome which means once she is born she will have a hard time pushing blood through her system. She will need 3 surgeries before age 2 and the 1st one within a week of birth. I am a natural minded momma and all of this has been very devastating to know all the intervention she will need. I am trying to prepare for what’s to come and she will be in the hospital for about 6-8 week after birth for recovery. I will not leave her there alone and will have to pay someone to fill my jobs while I am out of work which means my whole income will be gone. I am self employed and have minimal insurance. We are not sure what all medical expenses will be covered but there will be many other expenses besides that, that will come up. So if it’s on your heart to help give for the many expenses to come we would be grateful for what we receive. There will be missing income/ payed employee for my jobs so I can maintain my clients while I’m out, child care for the 2 younger children for 6-8 weeks, food for the family at home and for the hospital stay, travel expenses from home to the hospital for dad and family. Dad/husband will be working full time through this as well but we already know this will not come close to covering what we will need. If it’s not in your budget to help monetarily then please say extra prayers for our sweet baby girl who is gonna have a much tougher start than most. We already love her so much and she is tough. I feel her strong will and her feistiness and her will to survive. God sure has something special planned and I can not wait to meet her. Thank you to all of our family, friend, supporters and anyone who has made an impact in our lives. We love you all and are so thankful for you!
