Meet Tori Taylor!
She is many things to so many people: A mother, Fiancé, sister, daughter, friend, nurse technical support specialist, Masked Crusader organizer, dance partner, ‘Ask a nurse help-line’ (for her immediate friend group), Stage manager, a former dance conference producer, Poi spinner extraordinaire, music mixologist, words of wisdom, cheerleader, and now, (most recently) cancer patient.
Tori was diagnosed with an invasive form of breast cancer. On March 11th she underwent a lumpectomy and removal of 2 lymph nodes to start her treatment. It had looked to be a very promising success. However, once the pathology results came, she was informed that the intruder that had taken up residence in her left breast had not been completely evicted. She struggled with the difficult choice: Do I let the doctors keep digging in the left breast? Remove the left breast completely? Or make the bold discussion to eliminate as much doubt as I can and remove both breasts.
Understandably, Tori is no risk taker when it comes to her health. She has decided to do the brave and smart thing, to undergo a full mastectomy on May 13th. After this is complete, she will have a better idea of what steps come next in her treatment.
So much is still up in the air right now and her household currently down one regular income. With three kiddos and a sweet doggo to support, this family could really use a little extra help.
