This is Aubrey's sister, Emily. I'm reaching out to ask for love and support for my sister and her family during the most difficult time of their lives.

At her 20-week anatomy scan, my sister received devastating news: her baby boy was diagnosed with anencephaly, a rare and terminal condition. This means that their sweet baby was not expected to survive more than a few moments, if at all, after birth. Defying all odds, Baby Jensen was born alive and spent six days with his loving family in their new home.

There are no words that can fully capture the heartbreak they faced as they prepared to meet—and say goodbye to—their son. As they cherished what little time they had with him, they are also navigating unimaginable emotional and financial burdens, including medical costs, time off work, and funeral expenses.
