It doesn’t get more Rick Leukhardt than that.
Rick was in a terrible accident on Sunday, September 5th. He was rushed to Condell and then to Lutheran General. He finally underwent a successful surgery Tuesday morning to repair his broken neck. It was a long and complex surgery. But most importantly he is going to be ok.
If all goes continues to go well - Rick will be able to come home this weekend sometime. But this is just the beginning of a very long and challenging recovery. There isn’t a timeframe on this type of recovery and it’s uncertain when he will be able to return to work. Ryan and the boys will be holding down the fort while Rick is healing up.
It all adds up and here’s where we can help!! Let’s help the Leukhardt family heal together while not having to worry about all the expenses that will start to add up quickly. From hospital transfers, major neck surgery, hospital and therapy expenses to all the travel they will have to do to get Rick to physical therapy. The bills are going to be rolling in soon.
