On the morning of Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 our dear friend Isao Hirai passed away after struggling over the past 2 months in the hospital to return home. This is devastating to the Hirai family as their son, Toshio Hirai, a police officer, died just 5 years ago in a police motorcycle accident. Brigitta Hirai, mother and wife, is now left with just the memories of her son and husband. There are no words to describe a tremendous loss like this or the feelings of being left alone in this world but I am hoping that we, the friends and extended family, can help to deal with some of the burdens of the medical costs and funeral costs as Brigitta struggles forward to find a path for herself, and Dana (daughter) deals with the loss of her father. This is a small fraction of the support needed but I'm sure any support will be greatly appreciated.
