suspicious of lymphoma. After a trip to an ENT, multiple needle biopsies, a surgical biopsy and a lot of waiting it was confirmed that Tommy has Lymphoma B. Fast forward to today which was the first appointment with the oncologist, he was immediately sent to Wellington Regional where he will be prepared for 5 days of chemo along with multiple tests which will include a brain and body scans, bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture and to start medication to prevent kidney failure which is common with this type of cancer. Chemo will be 5 days of admission to the hospital monthly for the next 8 months with recovery time of a week at home each time. Tommy is the sole provider for the family. Anyone who knows the Bibey family knows how amazing they truly are. Rachel and Tommy are always helping others through fostering children, their church, being the neighborhood parents, the neighborhood electrician and much more. They have always put the needs of every one they come into contact with before themselves. There is not another family more deserving in this time of need then the Bibey’s. While Tommy will be out of work and fighting to kick cancers butt, lets make it easier for Rachel and the kids to not have to worry so much about finances so they can focus on being by Tommys side & fighting together as a family.
