Hi my name is Tom, I'm creating this fundraiser for our dear friend Ryan who has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Burkitt's Lymphoma.

For anybody that knows Ryan knows that hes one of the loveliest, most caring and genuine lads around. He's a fantastic friend to be around due to his addictive humour and great personality. Ryan is always willing to lend a hand and help a friend, family member or even a stranger out when they need it. Now it only feels right for us to help him in his time of need.

Ryan's diagnosis came at the end of August 2025 after finding a lump mid July 2025.

In between those dates Ryan had seen 4 GP's, had 2 biopsies and 3 ultrasounds.

As anybody would understand this was a stressful time for Ryan and his close family.

Ryan is now undergoing a minimum of 4 months worth of aggressive and intense chemotherapy which will unfortunately have its toll on him and his body.

This will also mean that Ryan will no longer be able to attend work due to the massive risk of illness, infection and the lack of physical energy.

A huge factor of the fundraiser is to help Ryan and his girlfriend look after and keep their home while Ryan is forced to have time off from his Self employed job as a bricklayer.

The money will go towards things such as their rent, bills, fuel, food and all the other amenities that come with owning your own home. We hope that the money raised can also take a massive stress off of Ryan and his family while he goes through his chemotherapy and moving forward his recovery.

I am setting up an event to raise awareness for Burkitt's Lymphoma cancer.

The event will be to climb the tallest mountain in England (Scafell Pike). Everybody that sees this is more than welcome to join me and others on the hike. The date is yet to be confirmed, however updates on the event will come shortly and there will be a date set within the next week.
