Love and Support for Ryan Ayers and Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mary and I am fundraising for my nephew, Ryan Ayers, and his family. Ryan is 20 years old and was a 2021 graduate of Margaretta High School and EHOVE Career Center. He is the son of Samantha (Dorsey) and Jake Neill, and Mitchell Ayers. On Friday, September 1, 2023, Ryan had a fall at work. He is a roofer and fell 15 ft resulting in a Traumatic Brain Injury. He was life-flighted to St. Vincent Medical Center where he is receiving the best medical care from an amazing team. He has a long fight ahead of him. He is currently on a ventilator to help him stay stabilized until his team feels he is strong enough to be brought out of sedation so they can continue assessing him and making a plan for recovery.

Ryan is a strong young man. He loves his family and is a hard worker. Ryan has two sisters, Brookelyn and Payton, a little brother, Jacob, as well as step-siblings, Ella and Jace. His mom, dad, stepfather, and extended family, have been traveling back and forth to Toledo each day to be by his side and are taking care of things at home through this initial trauma. One week ago we were all together to help his grandparents recover from a flood, and we could not have accomplished this task without his work ethic and strength. Now he needs all of us more than ever to offer our strength and resources.

If you have the means to help support Ryan while he is recovering, financial gifts will be used to pay his monthly bills, and help with travel and lodging expenses for his family. To make this time more manageable, along with any monetary contributions, continued prayers and communications of support are welcomed and make an impact on the daily struggles we are all faced with at this time.

Thank you so much for the love and prayers coming Ryan's way already. Our family is so fortunate to have wonderful friends and neighbors willing to go above and beyond to be available and offer their time, talent, and expertise in navigating Ryan's current situation. Watching him fight to return to us has been a struggle but also inspiring, and we are so grateful for the kindness of those around us.
