Love and Support for Melissa LaManna

Our incredible friend Melissa has been diagnosed with Stage 2B invasive lobular carcinoma, a form of breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. While the road ahead will be tough, if there’s anyone who can face it with strength, heart, and humor, it’s Melissa.

Melissa will soon begin treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and other ongoing care. The duration of her treatment is uncertain and will depend on how her body responds. During this time, she will be unable to work as she focuses entirely on her health and recovery.

On top of that, Melissa is a devoted mom to two children, one currently in university and one living at home who requires extra support. Even as she navigates her own health journey, she continues to show up for her family with love and strength each day.

We want to rally around her and help ease the financial strain so she can focus all her energy on healing. Every donation will go directly toward her day-to-day living expenses, medical costs, and any unexpected challenges that come along the way.

Anyone who knows Melissa knows how deeply she is loved. She is the kind of friend who shows up in times of need, offering comfort, strength, and laughter. She is truly human medicine just by being herself.
