My name is Shawn and I coach football for the Avon Park Youth Football and Cheer organization in Avon Park, FL. One of our bright young athletes (13 years old) has recently been diagnosed with a form of blood cancer and is currently receiving treatments in Tampa. He and his family are needing to travel multiple times per week and will likely have to endure this rigorous treatment plan for several months or longer. Travel expenses, gas, food and hotel stays are adding up quickly. Our goal is to raise as much as possible so the family can continue to get Mario the necessary treatments and still be able to make all necessary bill payments and maintain their household.
