Love and Support for Maddie

My dear friend  and co-worker Carolyn Hipp called me yesterday and delivered some mind blowing news. Her  beautiful 25 year old daughter Maddie was diagnosed with Leukemia. Earlier this week, Carolyn took Maddie to the ER. Due to COVID, Maddie was not able to have her mother by her side when she was delivered the heart breaking news. Maddie was transported to University of Chicago immediately-again, without her mother by her side.  Maddie will begin chemo in a few days. Carolyn is unable to be there with her daughter consistently due to restrictions due to COVID. Maddie, in true warrior form, is shocked and wishing her mom could be there but, nonetheless, is preparing for battle. 

These two woman have the most beautiful souls, the biggest hearts, and are always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Carolyn stood strongly by my side on my cancer journey as I will for her and her daughter. I want to support them any way I can.  If you are unable to contribute monetarily, please pray, and pray hard .
