Love and Support for Katie Lafond

Katie has had 4 brain surgeries since late August. She started  having unexplained headaches without relief and knew something was wrong.. After some imaging was done it was discovered that Katie had an extremely large brain aneurysm. (22mm)  By the grace of God this was discovered before it ruptured. And the amazing medical team at Mayo Clinic was able to operate on the aneurysm saving her life.  During follow up imaging it was discovered that the aneurysm had grown back even larger than before at 23 mm. She had 3 surgeries to repair it without success. The aneurysm kept refilling back up.  She had a 4th surgery this Friday January 17th. They completely occluded the vessel leading to the aneurysm and they are hopeful this will be the last surgery that she'll need.

Katie has missed so much work, and the hospital bills have been piling up rapidly on top of the every day expenses of raising a family with her 3 sons. This has been extremely hard on the boys. Especially Preston, as he is suffering so much anxiety with fears of losing another parent. After the tragic loss of his father.  And just to add to the storm Katie is also left without a vehicle during such a difficult time. 

 We are asking if anyone is able, and feels so in their heart to please help this family.  They have been through so much. Katie has endured so, so much . And it just keeps piling on without a break. She is very strong in her faith and keeping her hopes high and maintains a very positive attitude through this all.
