Your favorite nail lady and friend, Kathy Jass Osborn, was in a car accident on Tuesday, November 10th at around 4pm in Edwardsville, IL. The other driver ran a red light as Kathy was entering an intersection, and while Kathy was able to slam on her brakes, she couldn’t avoid him and they collided. The EMTs believe the other driver (an elderly man) suffered a stroke while driving causing him to run the light. 

Kathy sustained both a fractured sternum bone from the seat belt and a broken foot from getting mangled in the pedals. She underwent her first ankle surgery on Nov. 14th and is anticipating another on the coming weeks. She will also undergo sternal plate surgery. This is all before many months of physical therapy and rehab.

Kathy is looking at a long road to recovery, and she will be immobile for a considerable amount of time. This fund will assist her in paying not only her immediate medical bills but also her personal bills while she is unable to work. She and her family appreciate all of the love and support she’s been shown throughout this difficult time.
