Love and Support for Karen Fogarty and Family!

On June 29th Karen was admitted to Samaritan hospital and is now in need of a liver transplant!

She is currently in St. Peter's, awaiting transport to Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.

For any of you who not are unaware, Karen had an extremely long battle with Covid and has been hospitalized multiple times as she had a rare side effect and became paralyzed.

But, she is a fighter, beat it and was walking and starting to enjoy life again after an almost a 2-year battle.

Karen is an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend and would do and give anything for the ones she loves.

She is a beautiful person, as are her parents, Ginny and Billy, her sister Kelly, her brother-in-law PJ, and her nieces Kylie, Taylor, and Avrey!

For Karen, this organ transplant is the only chance for her to stay with us!

The transplant process is long, usually lasting around 180 days from pre-transplant testing to hospital discharge. Within that timeframe, patients incur a long list of expenses.
