Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share what our family is going through.

Our beloved father, Flavio Veliz, age 60, has been courageously battling stage 4 cancer since 2022. Despite the pain and challenges, he has remained strong, loving, and full of life.

At his best, Flavio was truly the life of the party—he had a passion for cooking, listening to music, and cheering on Ecuador’s Barcelona soccer team. He had a deep love for musical instruments and could light up any room with his energy and warmth. A devoted and hardworking man, from working in construction, landscaping to selling music instruments he always stayed busy. He always put his family first, providing for us with everything he had and more.

Unfortunately he left us on 4/16/2025.

We appreciate any help with his funeral expenses.

As we navigate the emotional and financial strain of this crisis, we’re asking for help to cover essential living expenses, medical bills, and, if the time comes, funeral costs. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help lift the burden on our family so we can focus on being by his side.
