Friends and family of Dwayne and Theresa Ayler

So many of us that love and pray for Dwayne and Theresa Ayler are looking for ways to support and minister to them during this time of need after Dwayne's kidney transplant.
There are limited ways in person that we can help them in the days and weeks and months ahead so raising money for medical bills, groceries and many other needs is the best way to show them how much we all care. Praying they are blessed by the outpouring of kindness and care through this Go Fund Me account.  God Bless

Below is even more info about what has happened and what their immediate and future needs are.
After waiting over 5 years on the kidney transplant list, Dwayne finally received the call he and his family and friends had all been praying for!  On January 23rd he and his wife, Theresa, headed to the hospital where Dwayne underwent substantial testing in preparation for the transplant which occurred the morning of January 24th.

Unfortunately, the kidney has not started functioning yet and he ran into unexpected complications since he ended up getting a terrible infection that is attacking his entire body. Still after 14 days in the hospital, there has not been any improvement. At this time, he is still in pain, unable to eat, drink or function. The continued setbacks of feeling ill with no improvement have started to take an emotional toll on Dwayne. His wife Theresa, continues to pray, encourage him and remind him that God is in control and that He did not bring them this far to leave them. They still believe that after 5 years of praying, God blessed them with the perfect donor and the perfect timing despite the current situation. One of the things they are looking most forward to is sharing their testimony of God’s love and faithfulness regarding their story as it relates to this entire journey and encouraging others.

Shortly after Dwayne was informed he had kidney failure and needed to start dialysis, his long term job ended his employment. Even though he was doing at home dialysis during evening hours so it didn't impact his ability to continue to work, his company immediately put him on an unpaid leave and was separated from his company shortly after. This has been and continues to be a difficult season, since he and his family needed their income and benefits more than ever before.

Once Dwayne is released from the hospital, he will need to continue dialysis until God allows the other kidney to start working. He will also have visits to the hospital 4 times a week for 4 to 8 hours a week followed by dialysis at a local center. Due to his comprised immune system, all meals with need to be prepared in the home with very precise safety measures being followed at all times.

The family will need assistance with medical expenses, household expenses, costly medications, sanitation expenses in addition to expenses related to hospital visits and dialysis times per week.

We thank you for your love, compassion, prayers and support of Dwayne, Theresa and their family!
