Cindy Thompson is someone who is always there for others. She is a loving wife, mother, and sister, and most recently became a Grandma on February 12, 2020. Her laugh is infectious and she is the life of the party. She selflessly gives her time and energy to those in need, and now it is time for us to return the favor.
Cindy was diagnosed with a brain tumor just days before her 60th birthday. What should have been a time of celebration and excitement for this milestone as well as the upcoming birth of her grandchild, instead was a time of anxiety and pain in the days leading up to her surgery. Cindy’s unwavering bravery and grit were remarkable. On February 4th, with her family by her side, she endured a nearly 6 hour extensive brain surgery to remove a baseball size tumor that had entwined itself between the two hemispheres of her brain. Cindy’s positivity and tenacity kept her fighting through the pain and she was discharged home 3 days later.
Cindy has a fighting spirit and is pushing herself to gain back the strength and endurance she once had prior to this diagnosis. It is unsure when she will be able to return to work and this poses a financial burden on her family. We are asking for any monetary help you can give so that Cindy can focus on her recovery. Let’s show Cindy the love and support she would never ask for herself. Thank you for your support.
