Here is Chrissy story...
Chrissy McRoberts is mom of three fantastic boys Ethan, Ian and Liam. Chrissy recently started a job as a special education aide in Kaufman ISD. Chrissy was diagnosed with Parathyroid disease back in January and had surgery for removal of two tumors and a nodule on September 14. While in recovery, she had an allergic reaction to the Dermabond glue. The surgeons said they have never encountered a reaction like this before. Doctors were not able to remove the Dermabond and is currently still on. This Tuesday she had an appointment for removal of the neck drain from the surgery and we all hoped for great news but was told she had to keep it in longer by the nurse and they advised that the doctor had to speak to her. The Doctor began to talk about the operation and the success it was but had bad news. The doctor said … You have cancer. The Doctor informed us that it was thyroid cancer. A right inferior mass came back positive on the Lymph node for metastatic papillary thyroid cancer. An emergency surgery has been set to remove the lymph node and thyroid. She will be receiving radiation treatments following the surgery. This will be her second surgery within a 2-week span and a mountain of medical bills are starting to pile up.
With that all being said her life has been turned upside down. She has not been able to work in over a month and her wedding has been postponed.
Whatever you can give to support Chrissy will help. Every dollar will go to supply medically, at home, etc. Please also continue to pray and ask God for a speedy recovery.
