Barbara Jean has been a dedicated teacher, coach and mentor for over 20 years in the South Huntington School District. She is an amazing mom to 2 teenagers boys, loving wife, sister, daughter and friend! Barbara is one of the most positive people that you will ever meet; even when life continues to throw curve balls her way. For the second time in just over 4 years, Barbara is facing her second battle with stage 4 breast cancer. Barbara continues to face this challenge with a smile on her face, a positive attitude and daily prayers. The last thing anyone dealing with a serious illness should have to worry about is the financial stress that it places on a family. Barbara was forced to stop working (temporarily) and while she still has medical benefits (thank God), the financial burden that this has currently placed on Barbara, and her family, is a stressor that we hope to eliminate. Barbara is never one to ask for help! Her belief is always that someone is in a worse situation than her, someone could use the help more, we will survive! Please help us reduce some of the stress that Barbara and her family are experiencing so that they can focus on her treatment and recovery! For her, she is going to be overwhelmed with how much love and support was provided!  As we all know Barbara is a very quiet person who’s whole world revolves around her loving family, especially her two boys!  To know that so many people are here for her and praying for her is an absolute blessing!  She is a ROCK STAR WARRIOR who is truly blessed to live and work in such an amazing community!  Thank you SO MUCH and God bless!!  Corrine
