On February 13th at 6am, my mother, Angel, was leaving for work. It had been snowing the previous day, and the concrete steps on her porch were covered in slush. She went to walk down the stairs and slipped and fell. She now has 3 fractured vertebrae and a cracked tailbone. My mother has worked every day of her life, never complaining or asking anyone for anything. She has worked two jobs the last 4 years, and now she isn’t able to work at all. Unfortunately, the bills don’t stop, and the medical bills have only started to begin. As much as my mother didn’t want to allow me to start this GoFundMe, she finally has given me permission to do so. To know Angel is to love her. She is a friend, a mother, a daughter, and one heck of a grandmother. And seeing her dealing with this is heartbreaking. I know with the Lord and prayers, healing is possible.
