Hi everyone,

Our family is preparing to welcome a very special baby boy into the world. While this should be a time filled only with excitement, we have also been navigating unexpected news during my daughter Alexis’s pregnancy that has brought both worry and uncertainty about the road ahead.

Doctors have identified potential medical concerns for baby boy once he arrives, and while we remain hopeful and optimistic, we know that his journey may include specialized care, additional appointments, and possibly procedures after birth. Like many families facing the unknown, we are choosing to lean into hope, love, and the strength that comes from supporting one another.

Alexis will also be walking this journey with positivity and gratitude, while continuing to care for her daughter Sophia and preparing to give her newborn the extra love and attention he may need. As a mother, her greatest wish is to simply be present — to hold him, comfort him, attend his appointments, and focus fully on his care without the added weight of financial stress.

There may be time away from work, hospital visits, specialist appointments, and unexpected expenses as baby boy begins his journey. While we cannot predict everything ahead, we do know that he will be surrounded by love, strength, and determination from the very beginning.

I am starting this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden so Alexis can focus on what truly matters — caring for her children and supporting her baby boy as he grows stronger each day.
