My niece Mandy and her husband Matt found out January 2, 2023, their son, Carson, has acute leukemia. I asked if I could start this GoFundMe page for them as I am also an acute leukemia survivor and it brought me such joy and love when friends setup a GoFundMe page and family and friends supported me through my cancer journey. 

Carson's Mom, Rae, and Dad, Matt, are staying in Denver, while stepmoms Mandy and Chelsea are holding down the fort at home. Carson has a wonderful caring family and so many friends that have reached out to ask how they can help. He is at Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora. He is 13 years old and was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and will be receiving chemotherapy in Colorado for the next month. Treatment will continue for two years.

The money raised will go towards: Housing costs for Carson and family, transportation costs to Denver from their home in Grand Junction, medical insurance out of pocket costs, numerous other expenses, etc.
