I Megan Darrow and Emily Darrow daughters of Christy Darrow and Stanley Darrow are creating this GoFundMe for our mom Christy Darrow, during the most painful season our family has ever faced.

Our mom is the sweetest, most gentle soul you could ever meet. She is the kind of woman who loves deeply, gives endlessly, and never asks for anything in return. She has spent her life caring for others, and now we are facing the devastating reality that we are losing her.

Christy has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), myasthenia gravis, liver cirrhosis, and most recently, gastric (stomach) cancer. We received this news far too late. Due to the severity of her liver cirrhosis, her cancer is incurable, and treatment is not an option. Doctors have told us she only has months to live, and hearing these words has shattered our world.

At this time, we are bringing our mom home and hospitalizing her in our own home, so she can be surrounded by love, comfort, and the people who cherish her most. We have had to periodically step away from work to care for her and be with her every moment we can. No child is ever ready to watch their mom go through something like this, and the pain we fill is impossible to put into words.

She does not deserve this. She deserves peace, comfort, and dignity. Our greatest wish is to give her a home filled with love and calm during her final days, without the constant fear of how we will make ends meet.

We are humbly asking for help with medical expenses, in-home care, daily living costs, and lost income during this time. Any donation, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden so we can focus entirely on loving our mom and making the most of the time we have left with her.
