Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my best friend, Kristin, and her family during an incredibly heartbreaking and unexpected time.

Kristin’s mom, Tina, has been bravely fighting cancer for some time now—far longer than doctors ever expected. She is a fighter in every sense of the word. Even through illness, she continued to show up for life every single day: getting dressed, doing her hair and makeup, choosing beautiful outfits, and holding onto her strength and dignity. She raised her family with deep love and helped care for many others along the way. Anyone who knew her knows how strong, loving, and selfless she is.

Just days ago, Tina went in for what was expected to be a scheduled procedure. While the procedure itself went as planned, it was simply too hard on her body. Since then, her condition has declined, and she is now transitioning to hospice care. As of today, she is expected to come home on hospice so she can be surrounded by love and comfort.

While we knew this day would come eventually, no one expected it to come so suddenly. Right now, Kristin and her sisters are focused on spending as much time together as possible and making sure their mom is comfortable and never alone.

Kristin is her mom’s primary caregiver and sole provider, overseeing all aspects of her care and financial responsibilities. This GoFundMe has been created to help support the family with funeral, memorial, and related end-of-life expenses so Kristin and her sisters can focus on being present during this time.

All proceeds will go directly to Kristin to help cover these costs.
