This is a fundraiser on behalf of the Eckstein family.    (updates to follow at the bottom).

For those of you who do not know Trever; he is one of the most compassionate, fun-loving, good-spirited people you will ever get the pleasure of meeting. Trever has been battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer for the past four years. What started as kidney cancer, lead to a long battle ahead of fighting. You would never run into Trever and hear him say anything negative. Trever is not someone who dawns on the past. He is always looking ahead at the future. Cindy and Trever are the type of couple that bring the excitement wherever they go. They never shy away from an adventure, and they absolutely WILL show up for you at every event.

If you have ever met Cindy, you know that she is the most friendly, strong-willed, independent woman you will ever meet. She does not know a stranger, neither does Trever. Cindy will never admit when she might need help, she is one to tackle all obstacles with grace. She is the rock that keeps the family together. The Eckstein's are the type of family that show up for everyone. Anytime, anyplace, any day if you say the word they will be there to help.

On Wednesday 6/17/26, Trever went in for a biopsy procedure to check the pathology of a new mass that formed. The biopsy procedure did reveal good results however, by Friday 6/19/26 Trever started experiencing increased fatigue and weakness. Trever had an episode later that evening requiring emergency intervention, at this time his BP drastically dropped. Upon arrival at the hospital, tests unfortunately showed that he had developed pneumonia, along with a septic infection throughout his body.

On Saturday 6/20/26 Trever was transferred to Mercy West, where he remains in critical condition on life support. Even in the ICU, Trever remains surround by so much love and support. Trever's character shines through to everyone he meets. While in the ICU, everyone wanted to make sure him to feel the love that he gives to others. I don't know if Mercy was prepared for the amount of love this guy has, you can find his "village" taking up an entire waiting room, next to the ICU. His personality radiates wherever he goes, and his laugh is truly contagious.

This family needs our support at this time. This family gives so much to their family, friends, and community daily. It is time we give them the same. Cindy, Emma, and Hunter need all of the love and support during this time. We want to make sure that Cindy can take all of the time off of work that she needs. Cindy, Emma, and Hunter will need to be together during this time, for as long as possible. Hospital bills and the daily life expenses should not be a worry for her. Please share this with your family and friends. Let's take care of this family as much as we can.

**Update 6/23:
With heavy hearts, we are saddened to say that Trever has been called home. Trever passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, surrounded by family. This is an extremely difficult and devastating time for Emma, Hunter, and Cindy. Please surround them with love during this unimaginable time..
