Two months ago, right around Christmas, I created a GoFundMe for my parents when our sweet Lenny was first diagnosed with congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy. It was a scary and overwhelming time, but thanks to the love, support, and care he received, Lenny has been doing so well these past two months. He was acting like himself again — comfortable, happy, and surrounded by the people who love him most.

This morning, everything changed. My mom found Lenny lying on the ground breathing very heavily. He was unable to use his back legs, and they were very cold. It was sudden and terrifying, and our hearts are completely broken watching him go through this.

Lenny is not just a pet — he is family. He has brought so much love, comfort, and joy into my parents’ lives, and they have done everything they can to give him the best care possible. As they navigate this unexpected setback and the urgent medical care he needs, I wanted to create this page to help ease some of the financial stress during an already emotional time.
