Love and Care for Anthony in His Final Chapter

Hi, my name is Lesley Ann, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my family to honor and remember my dad, Anthony (Tony) Malapit, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26th at 4:40 p.m.

After a long journey with liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, he entered comfort care surrounded by love and family. In his final days, he was kept comfortable with pain medication and hydration, resting in peace with dignity.

We are now preparing for his memorial and saying our goodbyes. The funds raised will help cover:

* Funeral and burial costs

* Memorial service expenses (Wake and Rosary)

* Post-funeral reception

* Novena and 40th-day family gathering

* Ongoing support for our mom, who was his primary caregiver

We’ll be announcing full details about the Wake, Rosary, Funeral Mass, and Reception through updates on this GoFundMe page as the days go on. For now, here are the confirmed dates:

Wake and Rosary: July 7th at Todd Memorial Chapel (5–8 p.m.)

Funeral Mass: July 8th at Our Lady of the Assumption (10 a.m.)

Reception: Immediately following at Golden Corral in Montclair

As our family moves through this chapter, we’ve truly felt the strength of community. It takes a village to support a family—and if you feel moved to help in any way, we are deeply grateful.
