Love & Support of Oz (Bill)

Donation protected
Update 4/17/2019 - Hello All! Thank you for the many prayers & support through this Journey. I come today asking for many more prayers, shares & any additional support you all could provide. With the power of you & the big guy upstairs I believe we could give Bill a better quality of life. Long story short, insurance has DENIED his claim for a prosthetic knee that will keep him in the fight & doing his job (35k just for a knee! Dang Techy guru’s) . Since Bill is now an above the knee amputee he’s needing a leg worth running, jumping and actively engaging the good and bad people of this world & which is required for his job. His calling has always been being a public servant. I don’t know what he would do without his life’s work. If you could donate, or share it would be greatly appreciated.

**********************December 2018 - Good Day All. There has been a lot of questions & inquiries & I hope to answer them the best I can. My Dad, Bill has suffered a major heart attack this past Wednesday Dec 12th. His work partner helped save & rush him to the hospital for surgery. Bill has been in critical condition since then. The most specific I can be, is that he is battling shock to his major organs. It is literally a minute by minute, hour by hour situation. We are now at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Machines are keeping him alive & trying to relieve the stress to his body/organs so they can attempt to repair themselves. This is a test & journey for my Dad which can take days, weeks, or months for stability. We are taking very limited visitors of Family/Friends to see him physically due to his condition, he is very swollen & exposed. We know that would be his wishes. But visitors are welcome to hang and speak with friends/family, just give me a call or text to make sure we are around (directions, etc.) AFTER a recovery it will be a long road. He is currently not conscious or alert and hasn’t been for the last couple of days. Unsure when he will be as ICU Doc’s are working around the clock. What I ask from you all? #1 Prayers which is the biggest support you can provide and is very much welcomed and appreciated. #2 if you have specific questions direct them to me & I will attempt to answer the best I can. I am attempting to take the weight & many burdens away from my mother & brothers for them to focus mentally and physically, so it is very much appreciated again if they are not bothered/bombarded with questions. I do not mean to sound callous or malicious in any way as this is obviously a very trying time for all of us. I will attempt to be the most patient & understanding of anyone with questions or concerns & offer my unyielding support to all. Us Osborn’s are a tough, stubborn lot & giving up isn’t an option. We keep getting questions of how others can help, what do we need or want? Sometimes we don’t even know what to ask for & or need to learn to push our pride aside. The only things we can think of right now are gift cards for food/gas or dropping off some grub and saying hi. It would greatly help expenses for travel as we are running shifts at the hospital 24/7. Feel free to inbox me/text. Thank you all.
