Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I temporarily closed my office on March 16th. I have spent every night since then sleepless, wondering how to make the rent and cover costs for the foreseeable future. I thought this would last a few weeks but the sobering reality that this will be considerably longer is sinking in. Unfortunately my livelihood depends upon my ability to treat patients. I’m not a distance healer.
So here I am doing the unthinkable and asking for help. I didn’t ask for financial help after Hurricane Sandy when we lost our home. But I am now. As a self employed practitioner I cannot apply for unemployment and I find myself financially unprepared as 2020 has been incredibly unkind.
In January, my father, Sonny, was diagnosed with lung cancer and a massive aortic aneurysm. Crazy, right? I have spent the better part of the last 3 months at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell medical center for his surgeries and home helping him recover. I was comfortable with the loss of income and cutting my hours as I knew I had some cushion and he needed me. Plus I knew I could work hard in the coming months and be fine. Well I didn’t see COVID-19 coming.
That’s were you come in. If you have come to see me for some healing, I hope the experience was memorable and transformative. That’s always been my goal to dig deep and give my patients the healing they need to achieve their goals. I’ve always been available day or night for medical advice, herbal formulas, laughs and a shoulder to cry on if needed. Please donate or contact me to purchase treatment packages for the future.
I realize everyone is experiencing the great unknown. Any donation would be greatly appreciated in this time of uncertainty. All donations will go to keeping my office open. I can’t wait to get back.
Stay safe and keep the ones you love even closer.
