As most of you know, CSO Leslie Assata is battling cancer again.  She is currently resting at home but her condition is very serious.  She isn't able to eat much and she is becoming extremely weak.  She spent a little over two weeks in the hospital and she faced some rough days but never lost her joyful spirit.

Leslie is married and has one daughter and three step children.  Those who know her, know she pours her heart into her family and friends.  Throughout her illness and treatments, her primary concern has often been about being able to care for her family and their well- being.    

I would like to provide a little peace to Leslie and her family by starting this go fund me account.  I'm hoping that those who are able, won't mind donating to the Assata/Dozier family.  It doesn't matter how much you prepare for life's unexpected peaks and valleys, one is never really ready for the situation that Leslie is now facing.  We want Leslie to know that we support her now and her BPD family will still watch over her family in the future.  We know this will bring her peace and joy.

Let us band together and show Leslie and her family, how much they mean to us.  Please feel free to share this message to others who might know Leslie.
