It’s hard to understand and to try to process why some of the best people on this earth are subjected to such an unfair share of suffering. Beth Behme is the kindest, most generous, and loving person you would ever be lucky enough to have in your life, and our hearts collectively broke for her when her husband Tim got sick and then suddenly passed five years ago. Through this tremendous grief and loss, Beth pulled through with strength, perseverance, and a deep love for her two sons, Ben and Zach.
As many of you know, Beth was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this summer and although her family and friends were stunned that this could have happened to her, Beth has approached her treatment with her signature strength and bravery. So it is truly unbearable – it is unthinkable – that just last week, Beth’s oldest son Ben suddenly and tragically died. Ben was only 18 years old and had just graduated from high school, and his death has left everyone shocked and heartbroken.
I know so many are reeling from the magnitude of loss and tragedy that Beth and Zach have endured. Because of the pandemic, we are prevented from physically gathering to show our collective love and support. And we are left speechless because no words exist for this – there are no words. Many of Beth’s friends have asked for a way to give a financial gift to the family for medical bills, funeral costs, and other expenses. So many of our lives have been deeply touched by this little family over the years – please consider showing your love and support to Beth and Zach in this way.
