Love & Prayers for Lauren OC and her baby boy

At 26 1/2 weeks pregnant, Lauren woke up to some bleeding. She went to the ER where she was told that she was in preterm labor. They gave her the steroid shot to develop the babies lungs and the shots to try and stop labor, but for now it’s just a waiting game. Lauren is on strict bed rest at the hospital until the baby comes. Dr’s know he will be preterm- it’s just when. They are doing everything they can to keep him in, but inevitably he will be here soon and long before expected. Lauren and her precious baby boy have a long road ahead in the Nicu. 

Lauren is one of the most selfless, loving and most genuine people you could ever meet. She had a plan to bring her baby boy home in late October and unfortunately that’s not going to happen. I would love to help raise money for all of her medical expenses, nicu stay, time off work and commuting back and forth from the hospital everyday once baby is here. Life can be unexpected but with faith and community, we can all do our part to make it a better place.
