JP Jr. Fights Neuroblastoma Cancer
Donation protected
During this time, the Rhodes-Ickes family needs continuous prayers, love, support and good vibes.
From the Rhodes-ickes family
This sweet baby boy of ours that is 3 weeks old today has cancer called Neuroblastoma. JP is currently being treated at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital and has begun his first rounds of chemotherapy.
This will be a long and emotional road ahead of us and our whole family. I don’t understand why this is happening to my sweet baby but we don’t want to spend our energy being angry. We want to continue to know there is power in prayer and have comfort in knowing God gave us this rainbow baby for a reason and he will comfort us in this time of pain and be our strength when we have none. He will lay his healing hands on our precious baby and be with him every step of this journey. He will bring him out of this.
I have no doubt JP is a fighter and will fight hard for us and in return we will fight for strength on the days we feel like we have none and lean on each of you guys with your encouraging words and prayers when we need hope and love.
We all feel the love from all of you already and so blessed to have so many people praying for our baby boy and hope you will continue to pray for us during this time of need.
I made our baby a hashtag so one day we can look back and see this was just a chapter in his life and he can see his journey of strength he went through and all the love he had from so many people.

The road ahead may be long but we know they are going to walk this with faith and optimism and with love and support for John Paul Jr.
Above all the family is really only asking for continuous prayers prayers and good vibes for their baby boy, however, we know that with hospital stays, medical bills, time out of work and more, any kind gestures during this time is greatly appreciated.
