Love 4 Baby Meadow

Hi, My name is Pamela Maloney! My great niece Meadow Mae Cordio was born at 35 weeks , 3 days gestation on September 19th, 2023 via an emergency c-section at Women's and Children's Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She is the daughter of Ritchie and Rachel (March) Cordio of Moberly, Mo. She has suffered respiratory distress with double pneumonia requiring oxygen, use of a c-pap (machine which uses mild air pressure to keep breathing airways open), antibiotics and a feeding tube while in the NICU. Today marks day 38 of her stay. The family waited 4 weeks for an opening at the Ronald McDonald house. Baby Meadow failed her swallow study today and is requiring more testing (including genetics) as other concerns have arisen. Her Daddy, Mommy and siblings Boston (5) and Wrenley (3) have been strong, traveling from their Moberly home back and forth to the hospital in Columbia and Macon where their parents ( who help out with siblings) live. Rachel is a stay at home mommy and Ritchie has missed work off and on. Of course, insurance has refused some treatments and fighting some testing so this is more added stress. Through much persuasion, Ritchie and Rachel have finally decided to let us ask for support. First and foremost, we ask for your many PRAYERS for this sweet babe and her family, as they are most important! The unexpected is scary. We would appreciate any other support you can provide. The funds will help with medical expenses, gas, food, lodging and needed time off work to be with baby! The family has had a lot of expenses already so we want to alleviate some of their stress.
