Lou’s bucket list

Hello, my name is Rachel and I’ve set up this go fund me page on behalf of our dear high school friend Louise, who has been given the awful news that she has terminal cancer and only a matter of months to live.

Lou’s story

Lou was due to get married in October of this year, to her fiancé Jeff. But after receiving some heartbreaking news. They’ve decided to bring it forward and we are trying to raise the funds to make this possible.

In August 2022 Lou was diagnosed with cancer, they weren’t entirely sure what type until they had investigated. But in September 2022 she was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer.

In November of the same year, Lou underwent bowel resection surgery and was given a permanent stoma.

Fast forward to this year , after numerous bouts of chemotherapy & radiotherapy. Today Lou received the worst possible outcome. Her cancer has spread to her stomach , the chemo hasn’t worked and she has been given only a few months left to live.

Any contribution no matter how big or small towards this amazing cause, would be truly appreciated.
