Hello, I am Andrew Pfeiffer, Lourdes's husband. Recently Lourdes was returning home after visiting family in the Philipines, and we stopped for a few days to visit my family in MN. The day before we were going to fly home, Lourdes went to the emergency room and ended up being admitted to the hospital. Its been over a week, and a few surgeries but a few hours ago she was finally moved out of the ICU. Lourdes is doing phenomenally better than before. My workplace has been amazing and I cannot thank them enough. But going from what the patient coordinator has told me, as well as what I have been told by the multiple doctors, Lourdes may be here a little longer. Financially, I am ok right now, but this has been one heck of a shock to me and our families. Anything donated is going to help cover the hotel, car rental and making sure her return to Alaska is as comfortable as can be set up. If you know how to get in contact with me or Lourdes, please dont blow her phone up.
