Lourdes Inez Alamo was a single mother of three kids, two older boys and a 6 year old girl, Erielle. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with HER2 positive breast cancer, and her whole world changed. Because it was found at an early stage, she was able to treat and was cancer free in 2015.
At that time, Lourdes returned to work with a huge pay cut due to her inability to travel.
On August 29th, 2018, her doctor told her to go to the emergency room after noticing that her platelets were extremely low. One week later, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). She was then hospitalized for six weeks since her immune system was so weak.
Unfortunately, after months undergoing chemotherapy and awaiting a bone marrow transplant, Lourdes passed away this past January 2nd.
The donations will be used to help her kids and mother cope with the medical bills, to support them and their home in this beginning stages.
On behalf of her sons Ryan Forte and Isaiah, her mother Lourdes Santiago and her daughter Erielle, I'd like to thank each and everyone who can contribute, no matter how big or small of a donation.
