Dear family and friends, Stanley & I need some assistance to help with our son Louis. He’s had a traumatic accident at work and he is going to be down for a minimum of a year.

I posted a picture of his right leg and in that picture, as you can see, a grinder with a saw blade attached to it is attached to Louis' leg. He was on a job and took a shortcut that may have cost him his foot. He cut through his artery, cut through his tendons, and has a vertical fracture that’s a minimum of 6-12 months to heal. The doctors have told him it’s too early to tell if he will be able to walk again correctly without a swag or gait to his walk or even without a walker. It’s all in God’s hands, and we’re just going to be optimistic!

The problem he’s going to have is living without an income. And while we know there are programs like SSDI he can apply for, we all know the judicial system has a process and a long wait in front of him. He has several surgeries ahead of him and several months of PT if they are able to save his foot. We’re trying to fundraise for him to lessen the burden of some of his financial needs. Not wants but needs. He lives a simple and frugal life, but we all know bills add up. His medical bills are adding up. Groceries & gas are outrageously expensive!
