Lou Sclafani/Petra Heist House Fire

Many of you know about the tragic fire that completely destroyed Louis Sclafani's house on July 9th.

This was not only a house, but his home that he worked on for 20 years to build himself with his own two hands.  And the fire wiped it all out in the blink of an eye.  Louis is a part of our family, and that house has been a place of so many joyous, calming, reflective moments in all of our lives.

We are so thankful that Louis, Petra, and Django are safe and ok, but there is not a single thing salvageable from the fire.  They have to start over completely.  They have a place to stay while they figure out what to do next, but need to get basics such as clothing, toiletries, replace computers and electronics so they can continue their business, etc.  

You can imagine how overwhelming it all must feel for them right now.  We are hoping to raise some funds to take an immediate financial pressure off of them as they start to rebuild their lives and-- hopefully their home.  If we know Lou, he will build the home back up bigger and better than ever before.
