Louise Roy's Non Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer fund

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Jo-Ann Nicolle and I am the baby sister of Louise Roy. 2 days ago after enduring months of excruciating pain, 2 trips to St. John's with a 3rd this week, a surgery, more excruciating pain, all she shared with is was that she had some pain, discomfort, my loving, comedic sister was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Cancer. The only indication of her possibly being a little sicker than she was letting on was just 4 days prior when my other sister Joyce, pictured in the photo with her, sent this to us gals. THIS WAS NOT MY SISTER! This was not my sissy, not Louise, Wissel, and certainly NOT our Wouisie...
Oddly enough, this was my post, today in 2013 on FB.

"There is a reason that I love my sister Louise Roy, Andreana Roy's Mom, and it is much more that being my sister. She has always been my friend, she has never judged me and has accepted my decisions (wrong or right). She has always been on my side even when it was not the right choice or the smart choice, she has been my protector, my tormentor, my friend and my soul. I love her dearly and miss her everyday. But the best thing about her is that we think the same thoughts, albeit 1800kms away. We share the same hurts and she feels what I think. I thank you for being my sister, for without you, I would have ended my life before it began. You make me want to be the protector that I am over my children and the person that I want to be. I LOVE you with all my heart and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you. Stay safe during this difficult time and remember that I am always here for you no matter what. Thank-you for looking after Christopher and thank-you for being you... Love you Wousie"

She's just that amazing.

Her grandson Kaiden is the reason she WILL BEAT THIS! He is the light of her life, the sparkle in her eye and the love in her voice. In short, she adores him.

While Non Hodgkins Lymphoma doesn't have to be fatal, its treatments are both taxing to the body, mind and very time consuming. There is a great success rate if it has not metastasized. It can be as much as 80% but not unless she can devote all the time she needs to herself and the Chemo or which ever therapy they choose to use after her PET scan this coming week. The treatment is NOT without side effects, Louise will have to stay in St. John's for 3 weeks and possibly up to 3 months on and off for treatments depending on what they find and that means lodging, lost wages, car rentals, gas, food, boarding costs for her dog while she and her partner Roy are out of Labrador City. Even just everyday general expenses.

Our wish is that we can raise 10,000.00 over the next few weeks to try and help Louise as best as we all can. That's by helping her MIND relax so she does not have to worry about the mortgage not being paid, or the car payment or even the cable bill. She can devote her time to getting better. If each of us, no matter how small the donation, could spare some money for our sister Louise, Andreana's Mom and Kaidens Nanna, we'd really appreciate it. After all, the world needs more Wouisie's in it not less :) of you cannot donate, PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS and kindly share a comment or photo of yourself and Louise.
She is currently in the hospital in Labrador City in excruciating pain wondering how she can possibly do the flight out tomorrow. Let alone the scan early next week. Please leave a lovely thought or inspirational message..
