Hi everyone,
those past few days I haven’t been feeling okay. I have been putting “a mask on” making jokes and trying relentlessly to hide to everyone around me that I had lost my mother this past Monday.
Her passing was unexpected which left me and my brother not only emotionally devastated but also unprepared financially for the cost of her funerals.
I’ve been trying to keep my head up and still work to gather the money myself but I find it hard grieving such an important loss while still showing up for work keeping a smile on.
My mother was kind and happy-go-lucky, she was an Artist and a Painter. She was really tough, really strong. She believed in Irish luck and believed she was always lucky no matter what the situation was. She was funny and liked to make people laugh even if she wasn’t feeling her best she never showed it.
She was battling breast cancer and went through surgeries such as mastectomy and back surgery. She also was under treatments for osteoporosis. She died of a heart attack at the age of 65 a few weeks after Mother’s Day.
I appreciate the time you all take in reading this as well as your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time for me and my sibling.
I am asking help from anyone able to give, no matter how small. Your support means the world and would go directly to the funeral expenses to help me mourn and grieve without any additional stress.
I also would like to donate a part of this fund raising to the heart and stroke foundation of Canada and also to the Ruban Rose “Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation”
All donations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you all,
-God bless-
