Hello Everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Louise Adair, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer which has spread to her brain, bones, lungs and liver.

Medical professionals have deemed her illness incurable but treatable to prolong her life. This news has been devastating for Louise , her family, and everyone who knows and loves her.

Louise has always been the person who shows up for others—with kindness, generosity, and a positive spirit even during difficult times. Now she is facing the biggest challenge of her life.

As Louise undergoes treatment, her focus needs to be on her health and spending precious time with her loved ones, especially her husband and four precious children. Unfortunately, the financial burden that comes with advanced cancer is significant. Home modifications to ensure Louise can live & heal in her surroundings, travel to appointments, medications, reduced ability to work, and everyday household costs are creating additional stress during an already overwhelming time.

The Adair family are blessed to have a house in the beautiful area of Portnoo in Donegal. Unfortunately, it is an old house which is not compatible with Louise's needs. Her bedroom and bathroom are upstairs and there are no downstairs facilities.

She has been advised that things we all take for granted, such as bending to put on socks, walking up and down stairs, lifting a basket of washing, driving, or picking up after four children is no longer a possibility.

This is a busy, busy household with four children at the ages of 10, 9, 7 and 3 and Louise will need a house that is accessible and user friendly to her immediate needs so that she can continue to be the amazing mammy and wife that she is.

We have created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden.

Donations will help cover:

• Medical and treatment-related expenses

• Costs of supportive therapies/care

• Household bills and daily living expenses

• Modifications to her home as she continues her treatments

It is a harsh reality that this gofundme page is necessary. The Adair family are as proud as they are generous and it is not always easy to admit the need for assistance and support or accept it when it is given but sometimes life throws curve balls in our path. This is one of those times and it is your generosity that can transform their lives.

Louise requests that no energy healing be sent to her at this time but please do not hesitate to light a candle or say a prayer for her and her beautiful family as her faith in a miracle is still strong and prayers are very welcome
