If you attended Guy’s Celebration of Life on February 23rd, you contributed to an amazing and overwhelming show of respect and support for Guy and his extended family. I was honoured to serve as MC and I spoke with many who expressed wonder at the depth of Guy's many passions and pursuits. They knew only the paths they crossed with him, but by the end, had a much better understanding of the reach of his unique and wonderful life.

Losing a father and husband is a tremendous blow to Louis and Liz. As you will appreciate…it also presents challenges from a financial perspective with the loss of Guy's contributions to the family income. We can be sure Guy would have a strong opinion on this whole GoFundMe thingy. And while we can’t know for sure what side of the fence he might fall on the matter, we can be confident that he would be very grateful for help to support Liz with Louis’ education. Louis is currently completing his 2nd year at UVIC and living on campus. It would be fantastic if we could rally and defray some tuition and housing costs…to help Louis across that BA finish line.

I am asking you to now consider supporting Liz and Louis in another way by making a donation, and sharing this campaign with others who had the privilege of crossing paths with our friend, a wonderful husband and a proud father.
