Louis battle

Hi I’m Louis José, I’m a 4years old Romania cat enjoying life in the UK..

I was found in the streets of Romania with my 4 siblings and mum. We were very cold and hungry. The rescue Romney cats house, brought us to the UK, where they nurtured us to health for a good month till mummy come along.

Mum says she was going to take my 3 legged sister but she was already taken so I saw an opportunity, jumped on her shoulder and started head butting her. Mum bought me Home and introduced me to the other mum. Turn out that I am her first ever pet so I have her wrapped around my little front paw…. and the rest is history.

We all have been a healthy happy family since then. Love my siblings Smudge also a Romney rescue and later on mums got the bonkers dogs Evie the best pillow and Zachy the best blanket Romania ever produced…. Louis chilling

But staying in the house can be boring and I have so much love to give… We live on a street with a lot of students and older people and I notice some of them feel sad and miss their own pets so I decided to comfort those who are by themselves. I will pop into their houses and share the love. Sometimes they party and I love the great BBQs in the summer. During covid I was extremely busy spreading the love in my street even found a elderly lady which I love to snuggle in bed with her. Her son bring me some dreamies. Mum always getting text messages saying I’m the best boy and thank you for what I do, even had a special gift sent to our home…. A bunch of flowers and dreamies….

The problem is early this year I got really poorly really quickly, I was taken to the vets which initially they thought was cancer or HIV. They did so many tests, they couldn’t find a reason for my sickness and after 5 days I started getting better.

At this point vets believed it to be a virus and I came home happy as usual. But now I got really poorly overnight and vomiting bloods.

Vets did a lot of tests, my blood results are chaotic and I’m at the specialist vets clinic to find out what exactly is the problem….

Already I did a scan and shows that I have a heart murmur and some changes in my heart tissue but still need plenty more exams to find out what causing this….

Our insurance are saying that they can only cover £1,000 due to it being a pre-condition which we have already used early… The bill is up to £5k just to find out the problem….

We need your help. We hope we can get to the bottom of what is wrong with me but I get paid in dreamies and unfortunately that doesn’t help my family and we would appreciate your help very much.
