December 29 will always carry a solemn energy for those lucky enough to know Lou. Now, more than 19 years ago, Louis Anthony left this earth and joined the safeguards of heaven. He was a vibrant soul that radiated sunshine and happiness, choosing kindness and love above all else. He was dedicated, loyal, optimistic - always being able to brighten the day with a laugh or crack of a joke. He was unlike anyone we have ever known; a true blessing and a rare find in this world.

The night of Lou's car wreck - December 29, 2006 - hearts shattered. Louis Anthony lives on through his parents, three sisters, and now niece and two nephews. Although the newest generation of this family will never have the privilege of knowing Lou, we know that he is watching over them just as he always has for us.

Since his death, each year we raise money for the Louis Anthony Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Award. We choose an individual that embraces all the best parts of Lou. Someone who is community driven, athletic, and hard-working. From academics to athletics to being an active presence in the community. Someone who dreams big, and isn't afraid to go after what they want.

Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated as we work towards helping yet another individual begin their academic career. Lou's memory will continue to live on through his family, his friends, and this scholarship. We thank you for taking the time to read about Lou's life and the impact he still makes to this day.
