Hi everyone! My name is Sasha and I wanted to tell you the story about Louie Valentin, our beloved dog. Louie was adopted by my uncle & aunt about 9 years ago. He was saved from a kill shelter in Texas and bought home to us at only 5 months old. Although he was very timid when he came to us, he quickly grew to be a lovable member of our family and an emotional support for us all.
He’s watched my cousin grow from a boy into a man. Louie never left my aunt’s side during her battle & defeat with cancer. Although he was diagnosed with a rare case of blindness a few years ago, he still is the super active and happy dog we all love.
A few days ago, Louie began having fainting spells and he was rushed the emergency room. After some diagnostic exams, the veterinarian determined that he has third degree heart block and the prognosis is very poor without surgical intervention. A pacemaker insertion surgery can range anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000. So if you can, please contribute to our surgery fund so we can spend as much time with him as we can. Louie is our family and we would do absolutely anything for him. Thank you all for taking the time to read this and please, any contribution is much appreciated.
